Dr. Caglar is an Associate Professor at the Istanbul University, Faculty of Pharmacy Department of Analytical Chemistry. She conducted post-doctoral research at Medical Center of Munich University, Institute of Laboratory Medicine Laboratory of BioSeparation with a main focus of hyphenation of mass spectrometry with on-line sample processing between the years 2011-2013. She studied Chemical Engineering and had Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees at Istanbul University, Institute of Health Sciences Department of Analytical Chemistry on drug analysis in pharmaceutical formulations and biological fluids by spectrophotometry and liquid chromatography.

Dr. Caglar has interest in on-line sample processing coupled with liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry in the pharma/clinical arena, focusing on biological fluids analysis. She has researches in drug analysis in biological fluids by liquid chromatography mass spectrometry, on-line solid phase extraction coupled liquid chromatography, multidimensional chromatography, spectrophotometry and spectrofluorimetry, also degradation, pharmacokinetic and validation studies.

C. Y. Kong is associate professor in the Department of Applied Chemistry and Biochemical Engineering at Shizuoka University,c. He received his Ph.D in chemical engineering in 2001 from Graduate School of Engineering at Yokohama National University, Japan. And then he joined the Graduate School of Environment and Information Science at Yokohama National University. In 2008 moved to the Department of Applied Chemistry and Biochemical Engineering at Shizuoka University. His current research interests focus on measurements of thermodynamic properties in the fluids from liquid state to supercritical state and synthesis of carbon nanomaterials (such as graphene and nanocomposite etc.) with environmentally-friendly chemical processes

Professor Worachart Sirawaraporn is a biochemist graduated Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Mahidol University, Thailand in 1985. He went to do his post-doctoral training under the support from The Rockefeller Foundation at Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics, University of California, San Francisco, U.S.A. during 1986-1988 under the supervision of Prof. Daniel V. Santi. Worachart Sirawaraporn is currently an Emeritus Professor of Biochemistry, Mahidol University, Thailand. He is is currently serving as an Editor of ScienceAsia, an international journal of Thai Society of Thailand. He is a renowned researcher working on tropical diseases, particularly malaria and has extensive experience on protein expression and protein separation.

Dr. Mohd Amin Mir, Head department of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical chemistry at Uttaranchal College of Science and Technology, Dehradun (Uttarakhand), has successfully completed his PhD in Chemistry at Uttarakhand Technical University Dehradun (Uttarakhand), India, with several awards from the Uttaranchal College of Science and Technology. Norman Dovichi holds the Grace-Rupley Professorship in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Notre Dame. He received his BSc with a dual major in Chemistry and Mathematics from Northern Illinois University and his PhD in Physical Analytical Chemistry from the University of Utah, where he was Joel Harris’s first PhD student. He spent two years at Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory with Dick Keller. Since then he has held faculty positions at the Universities of Wyoming, Alberta, and Washington before taking his current position at Notre Dame. Dovichi has graduated 58 PhD students, has published over 275 papers, holds seven US patents, and has given over 350 invited talks. He has served on the editorial advisory boards of 16 journals and now serves as Associate Editor for Analytical Chemistry. He holds an honorary professorship with the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Jin Seok Hur received his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering at Purdue University in 2006. After, he joined Novasep in US as a process development scientist and became the R&D manager in 2008. From Sep 2011 to Dec 2013, he was responsible for the R&D and Pilot teams in Novasep at Pompey, France. Since he came back to Novasep US in Jan 2014, he has been responsible for the R&D and Technology.

His research interests have been in the area of downstream separation processes, especially, preparative chromatography and membrane. He has published several technical articles and presented seminars at academic and professional conferences.

Professor Zoltan Takats obtained his PhD from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary. He has worked as a post-doctoral research associate at Purdue University, Indiana, USA. After returning to Hungary, he served as Director of Cell Screen Research Centre and also as Head of Newborn Screening and Metabolic Diagnostic Laboratory at Semmelweis University, Budapest. Professor Takats was awarded the Starting Grant by the European Research Council in 2008 and he subsequently was appointed to a Junior Research Group Leader at Justus Liebig University, Gießen, Germany. He moved to the United Kingdom in 2012 and is currently a Professor of Analytical Chemistry, Director of Mass Spectrometry Research within Division of Computational Systems and Medicine, Deputy Head of Division of Computational Systems and Medicine. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles in the fields of analytical chemistry and translational medicine, with more than 3000 independent citations. Some of these were published in Science, Nature, PNAS and Angewandte Chemie International Edition. He is primary inventor of eight analytical methods including Desorption Electrospray Ionization and Rapid Evaporative Ionization Mass Spectrometry, which are commercially available from Prosolia Inc. and Waters Corporation. He is one of the founders of the field termed ‘Ambient Ionization Mass Spectrometry’. He was also the recipient of the prestigious Mattauch-Herzog Award of the German Mass Spectrometry Society and the Hungarian Star Award for Outstanding Innovators.

Topics: Thermodynamics and hydrodynamics of multicomponent polymer systems; liquid chromatography of synthetic polymers - author of five original methods for separation of complex polymer systems; preparation and application of microporous carbon fibers. Author or co-author of two monographs on liquid chromatography and 250+ scientific papers in extenso published in refereed periodicals (150+ in the Current Contents covered Journals), and in proceedings and chapters of books, as well as 60+ patents (four of them were licensed) - cited more than 2,000 times in SCI journals and monographs. Presented over one hundred and ten invited plenary, key and main lectures, as well as over 900 lectures short communications and poster contributions during congresses, symposia and conferences and during lecturing tours to over fourty countries. Elected „Slovak scientist of the year 1999“ and „Slovak innovator of the year 2002“.

Interest in molecular characterization of complex synthetic polymers and complex systems of synthetic polymers

Dr. Adolfo Iulianelli, Degree in Chemical Engineering, is a Ph.D. in Chemical and Material Engineering. Nowadays, he works at the Institute on Membrane Technology of the Italian National Research Council. He published more than 50 articles in international scientific ISI journals, more than 20 chapters in international books, author of one patent and a book and of more than 50 papers in proceedings of National and International Conferences. He is reviewer of more than 20 scientific ISI journals, Associate Editor of International Journal of Membrane Science & Technology, Editor of Journal of Membrane Science and Technology, Advances in Chemical Engineering and Process Technology, Journal of Fuels and Scientific World Journal as well as serving as guest editor for International Journal of Hydrogen Energy. His H-index is today equal to 22.

Professor Petr Mikulášek has completed his PhD at the age of 33 years from University of Pardubice (Czech Republic). He was appointed professor for the field of Chemical Engineering in 2003. Since discharge, he worked at the University of Pardubice, now as the Head of the Institute of Environmental and Chemical Engineering. Prof. Mikulášek is the author of more than 70 scientific articles and chapters in scientific books and author and co-author of more than 120 contributions to international and national conferences. He is concerned with pressure driven membrane processes with a focus on treatment and disposal of waste-water.

Dr. H. Nadaroglu has completed her Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees at Ataturk University, Graduate Institute of Sciences, Department of Biohemistry (Erzurum, Turkey) on Bioorganic Reactions using purified carbonic anhydrase isoenzymes. She is scientific expert on process development on bioremediation of waste water, some nanobiotechnological applications onto environmental pollution and some industrial enzyme applications onto food technology (clarification of fruit juice, hydrolyzation of phytate ext.). She has published more than 120 papers in the field of biochemistry,food technology and nanobiotechnology journals and conferences.

Dr. Bahtiyar OZTURK was born in Trabzon, TURKEY, in 1966. He received the B.Sc. and MSc degrees in Environmental Engineering from Ondokuz Mayis University, Samsun, Turkey, in 1987 and in1991, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Chemical and Gas Engineering from the University of Salford, Manchester, England, in 1997. In 1997, he joined the Department of Environmental Engineering, Ondokuz Mayis University, as a Lecturer and researcher. He became an assistant professor in 1997, an associate professor in 2008 and a professor in 2013.

His current research interests include membrane technology, membrane gas separation, and renewable energy.

Dr. Pongsak Rattanachaikunsopon have earned his Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology from Lehigh University, Pennsylvania, USA. Currently, he working as a Professor in the Department of Biological Science, Faculty of Science, Ubon Ratchathani University, Thailand.

Dr. Pongsak interested fields of research are Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Biochemistry. My present research focuses on searching for biological agents such as microorganisms and plants to use as alternatives to control animal and human diseases caused by pathogenic bacteria.

Dr. Parichat Phumkhachorn is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Science, Faculty of Science, Ubon Ratchathani University, Thailand. Her main research of interest is in the field of Medical Microbiology and Immunology. My present research focuses on finding bacteriophages for use as prophylactic and therapeutic agents against pathogenic bacteria causing animal and human diseases.

He has published over 40 research articles in reputed journals and 1 edited book (IET, United Kingdom). He is also a visiting scientist at IBST, South Korea. His work has been highlighted in the World news of Royal Society of Chemistry, Cambridge as "A new system for cancer detection” and also featured as a key scientific article in the Global Medical Discovery news Canada.
